A facelift, which is also known as a rhytidectomy, is a cosmetic surgery procedure that is aimed at giving the patient a much more youthful appearance by improving signs of aging in the neck and face. This procedure has become more popular due to our increasing technology and medical advancements, but still tends to be an expensive procedure. Many patients are trying to regain their youthful appearance through alternative non-surgical face lifts, because these procedures cost less money and time than is typically associated with a surgical face lift. Some of these non-surgical procedures include the laser facelift, thermage, and the microcurrent facelift. All of these procedures boast the advantages of being rather simple, extremely efficient, and relatively pain-free.
